When you have a dermatology problem, you can simply take a photo of your skin with your smartphone, and upload the image to the AIP Derm platform.

Create your account
If you possess a social security card or passport number in Hungary, registration entails providing either your social security number or passport number, along with an email address and password. To initiate the process, simply click on "New Scan".

Upload your images
After entering your details, take a high-quality picture of the problem area and upload it.

STEP THREE
Answer a few questions about your symptoms
Within moments, AIP Derm will ask you personalised questions about the disease, with possible symptoms - whether you have a fever, how long you've had it, whether you itch, and so on.

Select package and payment method
You can purchase our service in several different packages. Please select the option that best suits your needs. You will then be redirected to securely process your payment.

STEP FIVE
Diagnosis and treatment plan
The doctor makes the final diagnosis and treatment with the help of our AI system, who can prescribe a prescription, or in the case of a serious illness, refer you to a hospital for treatment. The prescription can be dispensed at any pharmacy via EESZT.

Where can I access the service and how can I use the system?The service is available at the following link; https://derm.aip.ai/sign-up/hu Once you have registered and logged in, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to use the system in the Instructions menu.

What devices can I use with the app?The system can be used in the web browser of any device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer) with an internet connection, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On weekends and holidays, our service is available at an increased price.

Do I need to register? What personal information do I need to provide?Yes, as the notifications of the diagnosis will be sent to the email address you provided when you registered. To create an account; name, valid email address and password, then basic registration information; mother's maiden name, gender, date of birth, social security card number or passport number, address, and skin color. These details are only required once, at the first login. If any of your details are incorrect, you can change them by clicking on My Account.

What quality images are needed and how can I upload them?Any device can be used to capture a sufficiently sharp, high-quality digital image. Supported formats; .jpg, .png Once you have registered and logged in, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to use the system in the User Guide.

Can I upload images without limit?You are allowed to upload 1 photo of a symptom/problematic case. The doctor may request a new photo to be uploaded for the examination via the system.

Can I upload my previous diagnoses?No, but you don't need to - the Electronic Health Service Space (EESZT) allows your doctor to view your medical history.

What happens to my personal and health data? How is it protected so that no one else gets it?Please see our privacy policy at https://www.aip.ai/privacy

Who will see my photos?Only the diagnosing doctor.

Do I need a valid social security card to use the service? What is the cost of the test?To use our service, you must provide a valid Hungarian social security card number or you can use your passport number. Please see above for our pricing options.

Do I see the result immediately after uploading? How long will it take to get a diagnosis?Depending on the number of doctors working, the number of cases submitted, and the package you selected, the result will be sent within 1-3 working or calendar days. It may be sooner if an emergency package is selected. If you do not receive a diagnosis within the time limit, you can start a new test free of charge or get a refund.

What illnesses can I consult a doctor for?With any skin condition. Our system detects nearly 700 types of skin conditions.

Are real doctors making the diagnosis?Yes, we work with some of the top dermatologists in Hungary, including specialists from the Semmelweis Skin Clinic.

Can I choose the doctor?There is no possibility to choose a doctor.

What is the process of making a diagnosis?The app is an artificial intelligence-powered, automated, medical decision support system that, once the case is uploaded, offers the diagnosing specialist options to approve or override. Based on the opinion of the diagnosing doctor, he or she will recommend a personal consultation if necessary.

Can I see a doctor for more than one skin problem at the same time through the app?Yes, but you must record each case separately. You are allowed to upload 1 photo of a symptom/problem per case.

How will I get an answer to my problem?Once the diagnosis has been made, a confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided when registering, so that you can view the result when you log in and find it in the EESZT system.

What else might I need to do?Based on the opinion of the doctor who made the diagnosis; 1. Need to use a non-prescription medicine 2. Prescription medicine required (prescription in the cloud, dispensed at pharmacy) 3. Personal consultation required (at a local specialist clinic)

Does my skin color affect the detection of the problem?The system recognizes all skin tones, it does not affect the detection of the problem.

Is the doctor who performs the diagnosis available online?The system does not currently support direct online access to doctors.

Can I charge the cost of the examination to my welfare fund?Yes, the cost of the AIP Derm digital skin test can be charged to a welfare fund. You will be able to provide the name of your welfare fund and membership ID at the time of payment.
